The fuel tank was refinished in metallic orange with silver accents as part of the refurbishment, which also involved re-plating the brightwork and hardware, repainting the fenders in silver with orange and white stripes, and powder-coating the frame, swingarm, and ancillary components. Equipment includes a two-up seat, a passenger grab bar, rubber knee grips, and both center and side stands along with a replacement headlight bucket, gas cap, badges, and fender stays. Wire-spoke wheels measuring 19 up front and 18 out back are mounted with Dunlop Gold Seal tires. Braking is handled by drums at both ends, the front of which features a twin leading-shoe design. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork in addition to a pair of shocks attached to the swingarm, and the fork was fitted with replacement tubes and rubber gaiters under previous ownership. The handlebar carries replacement switches, hand grips, brake and clutch levers, and cables. The Smiths 150-mph speedometer and the matching tachometer were overhauled under previous ownership. The five-digit odometer shows 200 miles, approximately 150 of which were ridden under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The air-cooled 649cc OHV parallel-twin was overhauled during the refurbishment with replacement pistons, rings, gaskets, valvetrain components, and connecting rods. A Boyer Bransden electronic ignition module and a replacement wiring harness were installed during refurbishment, and additional work included replacing the following components: Amal 930/23 carburetors Dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe Primary cover Oil pressure relief valve Six-volt ignition coil Petcocks Air filters Fuel lines Battery Stator and rotor The number GC21787T120R stamped on the engine case matches the number stamped on the frame, a photo of which can be viewed in the gallery. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a four-speed transmission with a right-side shifter and a drive chain. The primary cover was replaced during the refurbishment along with the main shaft transmission bearing, high-gear bearing, clutch basket, and primary chain.
