About Northland Auto Center Inc.

Northland Auto Center, was originally named Mark’s HiWay Auto Sales as a nod to his father’s dealership, HiWay Auto Sales in Pease, MN, which began in the early 1950s and continues to operate today. Mark Wolbert started his business primarily dealing with Porsche and Isuzu vehicles. Thanks to Auto Trader, buying interest came from all across the nation, and Mark often drove vehicles long-distance to his customers. Many of these were repairable vehicles, and Mark learned from his father the importance of doing the job well and never turning his back on a customer. In a rural community, bad news travels fast. Even one upset customer can turn an entire community away from a business with a poor reputation. At our dealership, we have always held the belief that everyone deserves our best work and honesty.

After the sale, many of our customers return for life, buying vehicles and seeking service.  Some families have bought well over 30 vehicles from us, live hours away, yet they return for service regularly.  Others are entire states away.  In 2017 we took an important step to grow our service and better support it through the ACDelco Preferred Service Center program.  PSC’s as they are called offer high quality Genuine GM and ACDelco parts on repairs and customers benefit in many ways.  More on that can be learned on our SERVICE page.

At Northland Auto Center Inc, we only purchase vehicles that we can sell with confidence. While most of the vehicles we sell will have Prior-Salvage titles, we hope you’ll consider purchasing from us.  Again, we have been selling Prior-Salvage Vehicles for nearly 40 years with great success and happy customers.  If you have any apprehension buying a vehicle with a branded title, we have a write up to help explain MN title status and hopefully clear up misconceptions surrounding our inventory.  Even if you do not buy from us, it is a worthwhile read that may save you thousands of dollars.
