For this year only, Yamaha applied the special 50th Anniversary colorway to the R1. With it's modified frame, longer swingarm and revised front forks there's sharper handling, traction and responsiveness – while a revised cylinder head unleashes an additional 3 horsepower. No other motorcycle combines performance, style and rideability like the R1. The special livery applied to this R1 was only available for this year on this beloved generation. Brought to us with only seven thousand miles, it's in mostly stock configuration and the perfect blank slate for it's next rider.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also mounted and balanced a fresh set of tires.
