One of only 224 examples produced during a three-year production run, the YB10 marked the tenth collaboration between Bimota and Yamaha and remains one of the most desirable motorcycles ever produced by the legendary Italian manufacturer.<br /><br />Designed by Pierluigi Marconi, this YB10 is finished in its striking red and silver livery with black accents over Bimota's signature aluminum twin-spar frame. Power comes from Yamaha's legendary 1,002cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four, borrowed from the FZR1000 and factory rated at 145 horsepower. The engine features five valves per cylinder, quad Mikuni carburetors, digital ignition, an oil cooler, and a four-into-one exhaust system.<br /><br />Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable Marzocchi components, while stopping power comes from triple Brembo disc brakes. Additional highlights include a tinted windscreen, dual headlights, rear-set foot controls, a steering damper, a flat racing-style seat, and lightweight 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Hi-Sport tires.<br /><br />The color-matched Bimota instrumentation includes a 185-mph speedometer, a 12,000-rpm tachometer, and a coolant temperature gauge.
