Ducati’s ‘S’ treatment of the Streetfighter pushes its tech spec to the red line. In addition to the bigger motor, the Streetfighter S featured Marchesini forged wheels, carbon fiber cam belt covers, carbon fiber front fender, and fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension. Thanks to the lighter weight upgrades, the Ohlins only had to cope with a dry weight of 368 pounds. This clean example of the 1098 Streetfighter S arrived at our shop with only seven thousand miles on the odometer. The ‘S’ designation also means that Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Data Analysis are standard issue, making it clear that the Streetfighter S is not all muscle – it’s intelligent too.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also completed the Desmo service, mounted and balanced a new set of tires and replaced the voltage regulator.
